Noology. System of Noological Sociology
On the Spiritual Order of the World

The secular dynamics of cognitive capacities and of creativity, the strengthening or weakening of identity, the strange phenomenon of losses in complexity, the latent energies of mind etc., are facets that circumscribe the field of noology. It mediates access to the knowledge of those latent spiritual energies as they are actualized in creations, in the totality of pure acts and of uplifting manifestations on which the spiritual order and the very perpetuation of hu-man systems depends. The becoming of spiritual order and its perpetuation cannot be explained in default of the hypothesis of an abyssal layer of human mind that precedes all historical eras, certifying the divine root of the human soul. This abyssal layer of mind operates as a noological unconscious consisting of spiritual latencies (latent mind), acting as pure energies of mind, whose roots do not go down neither in hereditary inheritances nor in the learning processes,

but even in "uncreated energies", as St. Gregory Palamas called them. These energies propagate in the fabric of the world through the manifestations of the "virtuous souls", which are distinguished by creativity, love, and purity in everything they do. As evangelist John posits: „We know that we are from God …” (1 John 5: 19). The order of the world can obviously be ruined by man but can be rebuilt by human creative manifestations. Spiritual order has no price. It can neither be imposed nor bought nor taken on loan (imitated). Fortunes can be bought or confiscated, the same goes for state powers, even judicial ones, not only political ones; the spiritual order can neither be bought nor confiscated. On the other hand, the spiritual manifestations can be repressed (i.e., compressed), forbidden, suspended, for longer or shorter periods, after which, those latent spiritual forces find other “spiritual horizons” to re-enact the human scene. It is obvious that the cognitive transposition of order in the “being of concepts” is not performed strictly by the mediation of the abstract thought, but is firstly lived, assumed in and through inner spiritual experiences (trăiri), from where it passes then into the being of concepts, social schemes, cultural patterns (faith, myths, all types of the social narrative), institutions etc. Noology (nous – spirit), therefore, is the science of becoming (growth and decline) of the human mind, endowed with semi-mysterious latent powers, as the living nucleus of the dynamics of societies, civilizations, the world itself or even of the man as a theandric being.
